As parents’ attention to educational issues increases exponentially, their choices become more and more obvious…family learning or supplementing their children’s education. The numbers are amazing! In essence, parents are “destroying” their children’s education by controlling their children’s education. Who can better understand the children’s strengths so that they can tailor their children’s learning experience, especially in the face of the failure of the “standardized” model currently in our school.

We are facing a constantly changing world that is looking for and in need of creative and entrepreneurial people. It is almost impossible to develop these skills in our children through a system that tells children what to do all day long. The change should take place long ago, and the best part is that you and I can actively participate in this change!

Don’t get me wrong…I love the teacher and I am grateful! Their job is one of the most underrated and underpaid occupations in existence! However, this does not mean that changes should not be made… I’m sure many of them agree!
What does this “revolution” mean to you and me!

These changes in our education system will not disappear or slow down. Since my ex-wife and my own daughter went to school at home, I have been following this trend for nearly 15 years. With the continuous development of POD publishing technology and the increase in quality and circulation, I have been paying more attention in the past 5 years This trend.

One of the biggest driving factors in this large-scale movement is the desire and demand for customized and personalized education. For example, when my girl is at home school, my daughter Ashlea wants to learn another language, but she doesn’t want to learn Spanish, French or other commonly used languages. She wants to learn Cherokee. This is impossible in public schools… It is even a challenge in home school education. why? Because there is no formal course to learn Cherokee! We were finally able to obtain the information she needed to honor the Cherokee… It took her 4 years! Ashlea finally graduated with honors for a year.

What we don’t need are more textbooks, but more modules on topics that our children want to learn.

The vocabulary is still the same. The animals are still the same. The numbers and letters are still the same. The color is still the same. Nature and the weather are still the same. The state and capital remain the same. Most countries are still the same.

Our task is to simply show it in a new way. With today’s technology, some proven content and some creativity, we (you and me) can do this!
