Course Description Discover Dave Landry’s Most Effective Strategy for Daytraders and Swing Traders: Persistent Pullbacks
Explore the following options:
- Identify premium pullbacks for trading and eliminate the inconsistency often encountered with traditional pullback methods.
- Engage in high-momentum, one-way movements lasting 2 to 7 days in stocks, E-minis, ETFs, and various freely traded markets.
- Secure early profits when the stock moves in your favor, frequently on the same day or within the initial 2 days of your entry.
- Short-term trade stocks without the need for continuous monitoring throughout the day.
Having tested and experimented with numerous trading strategies over the course of 12 years, I found only one method that proved consistent and efficient: Pullbacks.
While several pullback strategies have been published, one stands out as the best – the Persistent Pullback Strategy. Based on my research and trading experience, no other pullback approach matches its reliability.
In my latest training module, “Trading High-Momentum Stocks With Landry Persistent Pullbacks,” I will impart this strategy to you. You will learn the fundamentals of quickly identifying these unique pullback setups. Subsequently, I will guide you through more than 30 trading simulations, teaching you how to trade them bar by bar.
Consider this example of high momentum gainers attainable with the Persistent Pullback Strategy:
- Ryland Group (RYL) is firmly entrenched in an uptrend.
- The stock undergoes a pullback lasting over a week, creating uncertainty among trend followers and prompting a minor wave of selling.
- We enter a long position at 55.40 as the uptrend resumes.
- RYL surges by over 30% in the next 10 days.
Similar opportunities exist for short trades:
- Lockheed Martin (LMT) is firmly entrenched in a downtrend.
- LMT rallies for a week, leading to speculation about a bottom formation.
- We enter a short position at 45.50 when the downtrend resumes.
- LMT plunges by 10% in the next 7 days.
What Sets Persistent Pullbacks Apart and Makes Them Superior to Other Pullback Strategies?
Standard pullbacks often exhibit erratic performance, providing profitable entries into strong trends for a limited period. However, they encounter unfavorable phases where trades get stopped repeatedly right after entry. This inconsistency is resolved by the Persistent Pullback Strategy.
At first glance, Persistent Pullbacks follow a familiar pattern – a robust trend followed by a brief correction. Upon the correction’s completion, a trade is initiated, and the trend continues. However, there is a crucial distinction. A distinct and well-defined pattern precedes a Persistent Pullback. This pattern is the game-changer.
The pattern, which I will teach you in my module, indicates that a stock is firmly entrenched in a trend, implying that the trend is so persistent that it has become the norm. Any pullback tends to revert to this norm. Does it work flawlessly every time? No. However, since developing the Persistent Pullback Strategy over three years ago, I have consistently observed its strength and consistency. It identifies powerful moves in stocks repeatedly, even in the most challenging market conditions witnessed in recent years.
One of its remarkable features is its ability to adapt to any market environment. Put simply, the Persistent Pullback Strategy thrives in strong trend conditions. When the market turns turbulent, it keeps you away from unfavorable trades.
I have yet to find another method to identify robust pullback setups that rivals the Persistent Pullback Strategy. Not ADX. Not momentum oscillators. Not even my prominent blue “trend-following moron” arrows.
What You Will Learn in My Interactive Training Module
My Persistent Pullback Strategy is a comprehensive and self-contained trading approach. I will guide you through its application in four sections:
In Section I, I will lay the foundation by teaching the fundamentals of Swing Trading, crucial for maximizing the benefits of my later teachings. You will learn:

- How to identify high-probability pullbacks using the “Trend Lock-In” Pattern, applicable in any market environment.
- Detailed instructions on identifying “Trend Lock-In” Patterns during your Nightly Research.
- Optimal techniques for entering Persistent Pullbacks, setting initial stops, locking in profits, trailing stops, and exiting trades.
- How to transform a successful swing trade into a risk-free, long-term trade for maximizing gains.
- Seamless application of the Pullback Pullback Strategy for both long and short trades.
- Maximizing favorable odds by ensuring the overall market direction and key industry groups align with your trades.
In Section III, I will guide you through numerous real-world examples, enabling you to apply Persistent Pullbacks to your trading. Through these examples, you will:
- Master trading on both the long and short sides of the market using Persistent Pullbacks.
- Learn trade management techniques for various situations.
- Understand how Persistent Pullbacks are applied to E-minis, ETFs, and stocks.
Finally, in Section IV, I will challenge you. This is where you will learn to apply Persistent Pullbacks to your trading effectively.
Through 30 bar-by-bar trading simulations created by me, you will experience actual trading setups. You will be solely responsible for making real-world trading decisions – to “BUY,” “SELL,” or “DO NOTHING.”
My objective is to guide you to the point where you can execute Persistent Pullbacks flawlessly. I will be with you every step of the way, prompting you, correcting you, and teaching you, whether you make mistakes or make the right choices. When you err, I will ensure you learn from it by explaining the thought process leading to the correct decision. These simulations are challenging and realistic. You will encounter both straightforward situations and more complex ones where unexpected events occur. I am confident that as you progress through the simulations, you will make fewer mistakes. My goal is for you to execute the strategy perfectly by the time you complete all the simulations, making you ready to apply my Persistent Pullback Strategy to your own trading.
I offer the most thorough and intensive training available for mastering the Persistent Pullback Strategy through my bar-by-bar simulations. Each simulation presents actual trading setups, exposing you to real-world trading decisions.
