- Thomas Campbell – The Monroe Institute Lecture
At the Monroe Institute’s 22nd Professional Seminar, physicist and author Thomas Campbell delivered a keynote speech. In the 1970s, Campbell, an original consciousness explorer at The Monroe Institute (TMI) in Virginia, was identified as “TC Physicist” in Bob Monroe’s book Far Journeys.
Working alongside electrical engineer Dennis Mennerich, Campbell discovered Hemi-Sync, the binaural-beat approach to inner exploration, which became almost synonymous with TMI. As Bob Monroe’s protégé, Campbell worked in the TMI lab, participated in explorer sessions, and served as one of the first trainers. He concluded his tenure at TMI as an advisory-board member.
Using his expertise in out-of-body experiences as a foundation, Campbell dedicated his research to exploring the outer boundaries, inner workings, and causal dynamics of the larger reality system. In February 2003, he published the My Big TOE trilogy, presenting the results and conclusions of his scientific exploration of existence. This comprehensive model of reality, mind, and consciousness merges physics with metaphysics, explains both the paranormal and the normal, situates spirituality within a scientific framework, and guides those seeking expanded awareness of All That Is.
My Big TOE communicates to each reader about their inherent abilities, demonstrating that human potential exceeds the limits of the physical universe. The acronym TOE, representing Theory Of Everything, is a standard term in the physics community, symbolizing the community’s elusive goal for fifty years. My Big TOE offers the solution to this scientific quest at a layman’s level with precision and clarity.
- Tom Campbell in Calgary
Physicist, consciousness expert, and author of My Big TOE, Thomas Campbell, conducted a workshop titled “Reality 101” at the University of Calgary on September 23-25, 2011. The event, hosted by Beth Haley, provided an introduction and overview of the concepts explored in greater detail on Saturday. Familiarizing the audience with these concepts on Friday enhanced their understanding of the more advanced discussion on Saturday.
In this overview, Campbell discussed the significance of the Double Slit Experiment and its implications for our understanding of reality. He also presented the scientific explanation of phenomena such as the Akashic records, precognition, time travel, and auras. Campbell gently emphasized to the participants and viewers that “Open-minded skepticism is the only thing that can take you anyplace important.” With this caution in mind, the audience was encouraged to absorb the crucial information available about the nature of our reality and our role in it. Participant questions followed the presentation.
