KATIE HENDRICKS – BODY INTELLIGENCE IN ACTION COURSE
ARE YOU READY TO MOVE BEYOND THE WAYS YOU DISLIKE, MISTREAT OR IGNORE YOUR BODY AND THE STRESS, FATIGUE AND OVERWHELM YOU EXPERIENCE AS A RESULT?
ARE YOU READY FOR MORE CONNECTION, CREATIVITY AND FLOW IN YOUR LIFE — ESPECIALLY IN CREATING FULFILLING RELATIONSHIPS AND MANIFESTING YOUR MOST HEARTFELT DREAMS?
When you transform the way you relate to your body, you can liberate the innate wisdom in your cells and fill your life with more enjoyment, energy and ease.
Deep, delicious embodiment is not only more pleasurable, it contributes to better health, a longer life, stronger relationships — and even more creativity! You eat better, you laugh more and you have more satisfying sex. You release your distractions and subtle addictions and experience more joy in each moment.
Science supports these conclusions, which also relates to our lived experience. When we are more connected with our bodies — as when we are dancing, at a yoga retreat or on a tropical getaway — we just FEEL better.
So the question isn’t if it’s valuable to become more embodied, the only real question is how to go about it?
How do we unravel centuries of cultural programming and years of institutionalized learning that teaches us that we should live in our heads — with our bodies treated like unconscious, inconvenient machines — rather than seeing them as the vibrant vessels of amazing intelligence and emerging energies that they are?
How do we use our body to heal our relationships, open more fully to intimacy as well as to infuse our professional lives with more creativity and inspiration?
How do we unwind stress and fear patterns that keep us contracted, anxious and just plain strung out?
The answer is actually simple: Open to your body’s natural intelligence. However, the path to accomplishing this requires wisdom, healing and daily practice.
That’s because millennia of suspicion (and even hatred) of the body have left a legacy of self-abuse, dissociation and an inherited mind-body split. This can lead you to mistreat and ignore your body — leaving you fatigued, unfocused, stressed and depressed — which then saps your creative powers and damages your relationships.
This may happen on a very subtle level. You may not be conscious you are doing it, but the damage to your life is painfully evident.
It’s no wonder we have dozens of health epidemics — from obesity to depression — because we don’t honor them with the deep care and respect they deserve. We brag about getting little sleep. We push ourselves to exhaustion. We jack up our nervous system on caffeine. And we spend countless hours sedentary in front of screens.
The great news is that it’s NOT actually burdensome (or tiring or overwhelming) to make a profound shift in this area. In fact, it can become a source of more joy, energy AND positivity for you.
We’re not talking about deprivation diets or painful workouts, but about giving yourself time throughout the day to learn how to feel better and better in your skin. More connected. Grounded. Alive. Alert. And far less stressed.
As you do this, you will find yourself becoming more optimistic and magnetic — more excited by your daily life and more available in your relationships with others
These changes won’t happen overnight, but they WILL happen gracefully as a result of shifting your awareness deeper into your body and creating practices throughout the day that reconnect you with your inherent vibrancy and vitality.
When you value what your body is communicating to you, you open the doors to a level of vitality that cannot be achieved by following advice from a book, outside authorities or even great visionary blogs and social media tips. Every BODY has a different road map, and by becoming intimate with what your own body is asking for, you unleash your inner physician.
From this level of nourishment throughout your daily life, you regenerate and enliven yourself brain to toes, inside you and with others. You create “in the moment” experiments in daily life and in each interaction. You know you’re journeying on the right track when you notice feeling energized by your choices (as though your cells are humming the words “Thank You”).
As you access your natural body intelligence, it shifts your mind in a positive direction — away from negative thoughts and toward creative connection. When you do this, you expand your capacity to give and receive love, your creativity flows more naturally and you live more freely. Distractions and subtle addictions also lose their power — and you experience more joy in each moment.
It’s really about learning to access and sustain a state of embodied flow — exquisitely attuned to the rhythms of life, the waves of emotions and a deep sense of interconnection.
Body intelligence is the direct, consciously felt experience of being alive, from the flow of blood and sensation to the many attitudes and mental shifts that weave with our respo

More information about Medical:
Medicine is the science and practice of establishing the diagnosis, prognosis, treatment, and prevention of disease.
Medicine encompasses a variety of health care practices evolved to maintain and restore health by the prevention and treatment of illness.
Contemporary medicine applies biomedical sciences, biomedical research, genetics, and medical technology to diagnose, treat, and prevent injury and disease,
typically through pharmaceuticals or surgery, but also through therapies as diverse as psychotherapy, external splints and traction, medical devices, biologics, and ionizing radiation, amongst others.
Medicine has been around for thousands of years, during most of which it was an art (an area of skill and knowledge) frequently having connections to the religious and philosophical beliefs of local culture.
For example, a medicine man would apply herbs and say prayers for healing, or an ancient philosopher and physician would apply bloodletting according to the theories of humorism.
In recent centuries, since the advent of modern science, most medicine has become a combination of art and science (both basic and applied, under the umbrella of medical science).
While stitching technique for sutures is an art learned through practice.
The knowledge of what happens at the cellular and molecular level in the tissues being stitched arises through science.
