Description:
By Kevin Gianni
I’m going to state something so true yet so shocking, yet it may be the most important piece of health advice you hear this year: “Getting your blood tested is more valuable than attending health events, webinars, taking courses or reading most books on health.”
The reason why is simple.
Carefully selected tests help you identify what your personal body needs — diet, supplements, and lifestyle — despite what any so-called expert says is right for everybody. (It may well work for their body body, but you’re a unique individual).
Getting your blood tested is likely one of the single, most important things you can do to figure out exactly what diet, supplements and lifestyle are right for you.
Blood tests transcend diet dogma. They are more accurate than muscle testing.
The blood doesn’t lie.
Are You Basing Your Health Decisions on What Works for Others?
Doctors diagnose diseases.
Most have no idea about desirable and optimal ranges inside of the clinical ranges that they see on their patient’s blood tests.
For instance, your TSH (thyroid stimulating hormone) could be high normal according to the lab’s clinical levels, but you could be borderline hypothyroid — and, worse, the doctor could send you home while you’re exhibiting all the symptoms of it like fatigued, tired all the time, gaining weight, etc.
This is the classic, doc-doesn’t-see-anything-wrong syndrome.
There is something wrong, it’s just not defined within the standard clinical results.
On top of that, most doctors also don’t know which tests to order, since they’ve had very little (or no) training on nutritional and functional blood testing.
And what about the so-called “alternative” health experts?
Those experts still recommend a “one-size fits all” solutions for everybody… but it doesn’t work. REINFORCE each of us are unique individuals.
And unfortunately, a lot of important health decisions are based on what those experts says, but don’t take into account your own personal needs, genetics or health history.
What’s even more scary is that a lot of health supplements are marketed without even having any evidence that proves they work or not.
How I Took Control of My Health Through Blood Testing
The reason I am so passionate about blood testing to determine if what you’re doing or not is working is because I got burned by these “experts.”
Back in 2010, I was eating a natural diet, supposedly the healthiest diet on the planet. I had learned from the best of the best and I “knew” what they were saying was right.
I felt good for a while, which is probably why I believed everything they said.
But then I started to not feel so good anymore.
I started to feel sluggish and agitated.
I was unable to get out of bed.
I developed a rash on my stomach that wouldn’t go away.
I lost all of my sex drive.
I felt like an old man and I was only in my early 30’s.
It all happened pretty quickly and I was very concerned.
So I did what I normally do when I’m in an uncertain situation… I searched around for answers.
I tried many different natural approaches recommended by “experts” with little improvement.
I became frustrated, angry and — at times — lost.
I was told I had candida.
I was told I was detoxing.
I was told I wasn’t eating enough calories.
I was told I was working too hard.
I was told I was doing too little exercise, or too much even!
But every time I tried one of their protocols, it didn’t work.
For example, I tried to eat a low fat-diet. I got more sleep. I lowered my stress levels significantly. I tried many supplements. At one point I was taking 6-10 vegan supplements a day– B complex, DHA, Vitamin D, B12, a mineral supplement, protein powder, chlorella, and more.
I tried various superfoods. I made green juices and green smoothies every day. And yet, nothing worked.
I was running low on patience.
And my health was slipping away.
It wasn’t until I met Dr. J. E. Williams, that I began to understand what was happening.
He ordered a series of blood tests for me based on my symptoms.
Here is a list of tests that I took
1. CBC – Complete Blood Profile
2. Lipid Profile (Usually comes with the CBC if requested)
3. Vitamin B12
4. Vitamin D
5. Testosterone
6. DHEA
7. Cortisol
8. Pregnenolone
9. Hemoglobin A1-C
10. Blood Heavy Metal Test
When they came back, I was shocked at what I saw.
All this time, I thought I was eating one of the healthiest diets known to man, but apparently it wasn’t — or at least for my body.
It was mind blowing.
I had been “told” that I could get plenty of minerals and nutrients from the superfoods I was eating.
I had been “told” that I could get enough Vitamin D from the sun.
I was “told” that if I ate like I was eating my hormones would be perfectly balanced.
Apparently, those tidbits of knowledge didn’t work for my body.
It was humbling to find out, since I had tried many different approaches with little improvement. What I realized, was that I was searching for answers to an equation

More information about Medical:
Medicine is the science and practice of establishing the diagnosis, prognosis, treatment, and prevention of disease.
Medicine encompasses a variety of health care practices evolved to maintain and restore health by the prevention and treatment of illness.
Contemporary medicine applies biomedical sciences, biomedical research, genetics, and medical technology to diagnose, treat, and prevent injury and disease,
typically through pharmaceuticals or surgery, but also through therapies as diverse as psychotherapy, external splints and traction, medical devices, biologics, and ionizing radiation, amongst others.
Medicine has been around for thousands of years, during most of which it was an art (an area of skill and knowledge) frequently having connections to the religious and philosophical beliefs of local culture.
For example, a medicine man would apply herbs and say prayers for healing, or an ancient philosopher and physician would apply bloodletting according to the theories of humorism.
In recent centuries, since the advent of modern science, most medicine has become a combination of art and science (both basic and applied, under the umbrella of medical science).
While stitching technique for sutures is an art learned through practice.
The knowledge of what happens at the cellular and molecular level in the tissues being stitched arises through science.
