The Dave Herman Hypnosis Institute was revived in 1949 with the spirit of Dave Herman who showed his doctor’s friends his knowledge of how to quickly introduce and control pain. As a result, he was asked by doctors and dentists to provide hypnosis courses. His students often studied further medical applications and reported these to Dave for inclusion in the next course. His course on hypnosis taught the subject to more doctors than any other teacher before or since. About hypnotists and trainers

Larry graduated from his father Dave Elman’s hypnosis course three times and had a short career as a hypnotist while attending high school and college. He then moved on to an engineering career (MIT, Air Force, and Defense Industry) and eventually retired as colonel at the USAF. Over the years, Larry has answered inquiries about his father’s life, career and Dave Herman course in medical hypnosis. He is currently a lecturer and writer on several subjects and has been a presenter at the National Hypnotherapist National Congress since 2009, teaching Dave Elman’s methods. He has also spoken at IHF, ACHE, IMDHA / IAC, Virginia Annual Conference, and in three cities: England, Switzerland, Singapore and Australia.
