March 2000 This 72-minute CD has been culled from Day-Two of that seminar, and follows trainer Jonathan Altfeld as he invites each student up to do some 1-on-1 vocal transformation work using a voice synthesizer. Whenever an effect transforms each students voice, the student is required to adjust various qualities of their speech in order to still hear & understand themselves. Sequentially, those transformations sometimes simply result in pleasant & desireable shifts in vocal quality, and in several cases, lead to profound shifts in students vocal resonance and depth. Not only is this material highly unusual and innovative, the content of each student’s discourses as the transformations occur is sometimes irreverent, often bizarre, and frequently raucous.
